Some women desire larger breasts, a sign of femininity and enhanced attractiveness.

Surgery under local anesthesia: lipofilling
Traditionally, these women opt for surgery under general anesthesia with breast implants. In recent years, another surgical technique, more natural and performed under local anesthesia, has emerged for increasing breast volume: lipofilling. But is this technique truly effective?

Injecting unwanted fat into the breasts
This involves using your own excess fat to inject it into the breasts. This allows for a moderate increase in breast volume or the correction of asymmetry between the two breasts. For all those considering this procedure, they can expect to go from an A cup to a C cup. Even though some of the injected fat is naturally reabsorbed, the procedure can be repeated after 6 months, and several times thereafter, until the final result is achieved, which is typically visible after a year, provided the patient does not lose weight.

A procedure to avoid in certain cases
However, this cosmetic procedure is not recommended for women over 30 with a known risk of breast cancer. Fat promotes the growth of cells, both healthy and malignant, so in the case of a breast tumor, the fat can essentially feed the tumor. Other contraindications include smoking, diabetes, and circulatory problems, which can cause the fat to form cysts.

Some constraints for optimal results
This surgical procedure lasts 1 to 3 hours, and the scars are very small. On the other hand, you may experience bruising and breast tenderness for several days. Finally, one requirement for the operation to be successful: wearing a bra day and night for a month and refraining from any exercise. But rejoice, because this operation has a dual effect: it increases breast size and eliminates unsightly fat from other parts of the body!
